"Dancer" Louie Vito will be performing his "Retirement Dance" tonight, Tuesday, November 24th at 9pm Eastern Time / 8pm Central Time on ABC's hit TV Show Dancing With The Stars.  It will be his final dance as he will retire from his dancing career and will return to his day job of snowboarding.  This last dance will be an "interesting" dance but Louie and his partner Chelsie Hightower are keeping mum on what exactly this dance will entail.

We know for sure that this dance will not be judged so there may some snowboard tricks incorporated in the performance.

It has been stated that if this "competition" had been determined soley on votes alone ... Louie would still be in.  So thank goodness it wasn't otherwise Louie may have won this thing!

One thing is for sure, Louie has been working out hard with his personal trainer and he will be ready and anxious to begin his halfpipe training camp with the U.S. Snowboard Team this Friday at Copper Mountain, CO.

The first Grand Prix (which is also the first Olympic Trial) will be Friday and Saturday, December 11th and 12th.  Louie has won the overall Grand Prix title the last two years in a row but this year may be a bit more meaningful.  The top four Grand Prix place finishers (out of the five Grand Prix competitions this year) will be rewarded with a spot on the U.S. Olympic Halfpipe Snowboard Team.

"Thanks for all your votes - it truly meant a lot to me." Louie Vito

hey guys, here is another update seeing as now im back in australia and back hard in the shovelling

business..

i have been back in australia for the past 3 days and have spent most of my time in the 36 degree
heat (98 f) digging on the yard. over the past 6 months the jumps have got a floggin. all of the run
ups are erroded and clapped out so its gonna take a lot of time and effort to get the yard back to
good condition. but within the next 4 weeks she should be back up and running. its a lot of work
when doing it all solo.. but the end result is well worth it. speaking of which, im a head back out and
keep  at it.. the jumps arent gonna dig em selves...see pic for the trick set slowly getting done.
late!

Chilliwack, B.C., Canada

Nov. 13 & Nov. 14, 2009

Rounds 3 and 4 of the Nex Trax Canadian Arenacross Championships were action packed once again. This past weekend the Chilliwack’s Heritage Park built an intense and fast track. Word spread fast from last weekend and once again the Nex Trax Canadian Arenacross drew more pros from North America. The racing was tight and bar to bar action blew fans away.

Round 3
MX2 Main: Brady Sheren from Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki Team placed 2nd and teammate Brock Hoyer finished 4th.
Open Main: Brock Hoyer starts off great with a holeshot and does his best to fight off Dusty Klatt. Hoyer finishes in 3rd, Brady Sheren goes down, and Kris Foster in 6th.

Round 4
MX2 Main: Tough race as Brock Hoyer gets a good start but crashes in the first turn and has to regroup fast. Brady Sheren pushed his way into 4th Hoyer finished in 5th and Kris Foster rounded off the team in 7th.
Open Main: This race was fast. Hoyer finds himself in the lead for a few laps but couldn’t fend off Dusty Klatt and Kyle Beaton finishing in 3rd. Brady Sheren had a mid pack start and fought his way into 4th.

A consistent round 3 and 4 for the Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki Team. The team is looking forward to improving their results at the next Nex Trax Canadian Arenacross Championships on Dec. 19, 2009. See you there.

Goodridge, Minn. (Nov. 17, 2009) - Tucker Hibbert is set to pilot his trademark, blacked-out Monster Energy/Arctic Cat Sno Pro 600 at six select snocross events this winter.  Hibbert will hit two exciting new venues on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series (ACSS) tour in Milwaukee and Salt Lake City.  He will return to New York, after a two-year absence, and will also be racing fan favorite events in Duluth and Shakopee, Minn.  He already received his official invite to ESPN’s Winter X Games 14, where he hopes to win a record-breaking ninth medal in the snocross event with a gold medal four-peat.

Monster Energy is returning as the team’s title sponsor and is committed to supporting Hibbert’s racing year-round.  As announced earlier, he is continuing his career-long partnership with Arctic Cat to race the third generation Sno Pro 600.  Other returning sponsors are: Castle X Racewear, Stud Boy Traction, Fox Racing Shox, Spy Optic, Speedwerx, Kicker, One Helmets, Digital Ink Design & Graphics and Asterisk.  Joining the team this winter is Leatt-Brace.  Hibbert began wearing the Leatt neck brace the summer of 2008 and has not rode without it since.  Leatt is the leader in neck protection and its highly praised brace was recently named “Product of the Decade” by Motocross Action magazine.

Last season, Hibbert rode flawlessly in every snocross race he entered.  He begins his quest for another undefeated season on Thanksgiving weekend at the ACSS tour’s season opener in Duluth, Minn.  If you cannot make it to a race this winter, watch the all-new, one-hour, Sunday afternoon race coverage of the ACSS tour on VERSUS. For Hibbert’s complete schedule, check out www.tucker-hibbert.com.

Tucker Hibbert - #68 Monster Energy/Arctic Cat

“I’m really excited about my schedule this winter.  I’ll be racing at venues from one side of the country to the other, so fans from all over will have the opportunity to see a race in person.

Last year was unbelievable.  Being undefeated puts a lot of pressure the crew and myself but we’re prepared to do it again.  I’m fortunate to have an amazing group of people behind my program.  I just got home from a week of riding and testing and am confident my Monster Energy/Arctic Cat will be ready to rip at the season opener in Duluth!”

Noteworthy:

• Castle X Racewear dealers are now selling the fourth generation Monster Energy/Tucker Hibbert Replica Gear.

• Based on the successful Sno Pro race chassis, the all-new Sno Pro 500 is now available at Arctic Cat dealers.
