One of the top female snowboarders in the world, Leanne Pelosi is mad prolific. She’s a rail killer, a contest crusher, film star, and … oh yeah, she’s also owns Runway Films, and is the director of MGT snowboard camp in Whistler.
Coming out of Calgary, Canada with aspirations to play soccer professionally Leanne was gifted with athleticism. Snowboarding came naturally and before long a move to Whistler had her in the limelight and on the winners podium six times in a single season. Rewarded with TransWorld SNOWboarding Mag’s Rookie Of The Year, she backed it up and won Women’s Rider Of The Year the next season.
As producer for an all-girls snowboard production company and director of an all-girls snowboard camp, she’s taken the lead as the driving force behind the blossoming women’s movement. As Leanne pushes her craft, so too does her girl posse follow, progress and push forward.
From next level movie parts, to rail combinations, Leanne Pelosi is all smiles and she’s awfully photogenic. Open any print medium and the girl is gleefully shreddin’ or just chilling. Energetic and engaging, Pelosi shines on film, print, and in person. Typically humble, friendly and Canadian, she leaves a positive impression wherever she goes—and along with contest wins, it’s this believable, genuine enthusiasm that’s propelled her to super stardom.
